I get asked all the time at our weight loss challenges, “Why are your great juicing recipes so important?”  Well, the basic answer is that there is mounting evidence on the importance of eating a more healthy diet.  Things like raw or “whole” foods, natural homemade juices and specific combinations of foods that help our bodies heal, feel energized and perform at their top levels.

With the right juicing recipes, you can create at home some of the most wonderful and tasty drinks you have ever experienced.  Most importantly, you can combine some of the foods that are critical to great health, but don’t appeal to your particular tastes.  I use them to help my children get some of the nutrients they need as well. And they certainly love the taste of these recipes.

As with any blog, this will be a work in progress.  If you come across a recipe that works great for you or you love the taste, please email me via our “Contact Us” page (see links to the left of our post in the home page) and share it.  We will try it out and if we love it also, we will share it with our growing reader base.

One thing I encourage everyone to that is trying to make healthier choices in eating is to be patient.  It takes a couple of weeks for your taste buds to “turn over” or die off naturally and be replaced with new ones.  There is usually a period of adjustment for your body from craving the artificial sweetness, flavors and colors of sodas and the other popular drinks to the natural sweetness and flavors of juicing.  So make sure to give yourself plenty of time to adjust before giving up.

A definite benefit of the process is you will start to feel more energized, alert and healthy almost immediately.  With these quality recipes you can feel your body waking up and reacting positively to the increased nutrition you are feeding it.  I am not a doctor, but the benefits of incorporating these recipes in my own life and the lives of my family have been dramatic and powerful.  I am confident you will find the same!

So take a look around.  Enjoy our site as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you.  And test out some of our great juicing recipes right away.  You will be forever grateful you did!

I think I mean juice… you know like when you buy a jar of olives, the liquid that is left behind, it’s not oily its more of a salty water.
